Housing plots and infrastructure

In 2022 I haaave been mostly working on residential plots.......

Sites have involved s278 works, demolition, earthworks, drainage, pile mats, adoptable and private roads, foundations,  substructure to block n beam. brickwork, pump stations, retaining walls etc the whole shebang! I even had to put profiles yes profiles up for a road.

I liked doing this kind of work as there is plenty to go at and it changes daily. I particularly liked working with Wooldridge doing this. They have gps machines, which I did all the models for - pile mats, reduced level dig, road formation and stone up, service crossings, drainage, foundations, voids, externals everything. I'd have 3 sites on the go 2 of which had machine control so initially its a lot of work to create the files but once thats done they can get on with it. I'd do regular position checks and advice on the models and i'd set out corners of groundbeams, nails for substructures on plots and garages, pins for kerbs and all the as builts. There was always stockpiles to survey and report back so plenty to do.

I liked working with Wooldridge but their workload dropped as 2 of my sites had their build programmes slowed down and there wasn't enough on the remaining site to justify my requirement so we parted company in November 2022.
