Originally hired by Wooldridge for a 88 plot development on a brown field site in Chichester. This was ideal plenty to do, removal of buried structures, reduced level dig, pile mats, 1000 piles, adoptable and private roads and drainage, pile caps, ground beams, blocks of flats, plots, sub station, pumping station, services etc. A site manager who I had worked with before joined and he suggested i come along. It was ideal, the management and directors were sound and had a good 6 months of so on this site.

Wooldridge then won another 2 parcels with a different developer in the same town so I covered all three sites. This was ideal for me as Wooldridge use GPS on their machines. I created all the models and files and uploaded to the machines, so in effect they could all get on when I wasnt there. I split my time between the 3 sites, doing checks, surveys, as builts, sorting out design changes on the models, setting out kerbs, plot blockwork, etc and keeping the non gps gangs busy - still plenty to do it was all great.

We parted company in November 22 as Wooldridge fell out with one of the developers which meant works on 2 of my sites were stopped and there wasnt enough at the other site to justify my existence. To be honest I liked working with Wooldridge, I had plenty to do, they let me get on with it, I had GPS machines at my disposal, I think I was well thought of, just a shame it went pear shaped which was something way higher up the food chain out of my control.
