Senior Engineer on this new £25m training facility for Brighton & Hove Albion. I joined the project from day 1 on site so topsoil strip, cut and fill, drainage, car park make up and foundations. I had an engineer reporting to me so he was doing all the setting out, i was just ordering pipes and toilet roles! I soon learned that I am not a senior engineer. This was a good job with good people but it demonstrated to me that i am better at the setting out and surveying rather than organising and management.
